Cardinal is an Ontario-based company, started by David Hamilton, which works with Mortgage Brokers to keep their clients in their homes when they’re facing foreclosure

We are dedicated to finding values-based, socially responsible solutions to help Canadian families maintain home-ownership. We work with Mortgage Brokers and other real estate professionals to service the individuals who need our help – and together we will work directly with the client.

Cardinal provides a sustainable Refinance Program that will erase your client’s debt, repair credit, and allow Canadian families to stay in their homes.

Mortgage Brokers utilize our program for families who reside in a home but are unable to renew their mortgage. Cardinal’s Refinance Program is ideal for clients marginalized by banks and lending institutions unwilling to offer refinancing. Denial of refinancing may be for several reasons, including poor credit resulting from divorce, separation, short-term unemployment or illness. We will only accept qualified candidates.

We earn our profit by structuring the Refinance Program so that a portion of each client’s security deposit covers any taxes, services, and processing fees. Our clients pay all property maintenance. We also ensure that all of our refinancing properties have positive monthly cashflow.
